Anyone know when the NBA will release the scedule for 2004-2005 season? I'm just anxious to see who we will play in the opener and I'm also hoping it will be a little easier than last years scedule.

I'm pretty sure that the Rockets game versus Orlando will be televised.

Probably sometime in August. It gives the schedule makers time to see where all the big names will go in FA and see what the teams will look like before they start scheduling games and deciding on the TV schedule.

And you can bank on the Rockets getting the maximum TV appearances this year. And probably the marquee Christmas Day game as well.

The X-Mas game should be between Rockets and T-wolves/Lakers, depending on if Lakers get Kobe and any decent trade for Shaq.

The Christmas Day games are normally re-matches of the previous season's Conference Finals. Rockets vs. Magic ain't gonna happen then!

last year it was rockets-lakers so i dont know exactly what they will do, probably the more attractive matchups really a houston-orlando matchup could be it

also i am really excited to see how many games will be nationally televised this year because i am an out of town guy it will be heaven for me to see 30+ games this year. i know of league pass but it would kill me to have it because i'd call in sick miss appointments just to see rocket games. can do that one twice a week but not every few days if i had league pass.
