It's not all that off the wall to assume that one of your best relief pitchers can get 3 outs.

I think it’s more the cavalier attitude than anything

Pressly another inning? You have Neris and Stanek precisely for close and late situations. They need to get the job done.

I didn’t watch the end of the game but this seems like a weird complaint.

It shows how we stack up with a legit team, with a legit manager.

    Not good.

The Astros were stacked just fine when they smacked the Yankees around. Yankees have never been the same since realizing the Astros are still their daddy. Smacked the Mariners around when they were beating every other team in MLB. Nice gut check road series split in Chicago while they were playing their best baseball of the season.

Neither of our top 2 starters played in this series but we saw 3 out the top 4 for Atlanta's starters. Yordan is a key to this offense. Get him back and activate Air Yordan again and we'll have lots of fun in October.

Oh and it might not seem like a big deal but considering the Astros don't play much in Atlanta, on field batting practice can be important for getting a comfort level with the batters eye. Due to rain, the Astros have only had one on field batting practice the last 2 seasons in Atlanta; game 5 of the WS when they put up 9 runs.

Yankees and Mariners aren't the Braves.

    I like your optimism though.

Not worried about the regular season with this team. They were terrible in 2017 in August and won the whole thing. Terrible in 20’ and one game from the WS.

Playoffs are what matters and the Astros have better odds than any team to reach another WS.

The National league is nasty this year.

Astros, if they play their best should cake walk in.

They should get there alright. Not winning it with this manager. I'm preparing myself for it now.

Unless our opponent is Dave Roberts......

Also importantly a 2 game sample size is essentially meaningless.

I have faith that our hitters will pick it up at some point, like Bregs, Altuve, yordan, tucker and someone else get red hot at the same time. Our starting pitching is awesome, I’m a little concerned about Verlander and if he’s wearing down. I worry about McCullers going forward too. My main concern is the bullpen. In the playoffs we will probably see our BOR guys in relief. The bullpen is my biggest concern. The ability to hold leads.

He's baaaaack...and I'm referring to Dubon in the leadoff spot, not Yordan.
