No offense but I'd love to see a source for your claim of $50M in profit. Just a year or so back the WNBA was claimed to generate about that same figure in revenue. It's hard to find any legitimate numbers.

NHL would have a packed house. Very few ppl are interested in WNBA. I don’t think it comes back.

I have never been a fan of the WNBA, but if they are profitable then there must be a reasonable demand for it. I wouldn't care if they bring one to Houston or elsewhere, I just see it as a business and hope they select the city where they can make the most money. Even though the dollars are small, I just never liked the idea of the NBA floating the WNBA financially. Hopefully they are super careful as to where they expand, because it seems like if they are profitable they did it by only focusing on their absolute best markets.

I have zero personal interest in the WNBA, and it doesn’t seem like a good investment, but to each their own.

The one’s that insist they deserve pay on or w the men are delusional.

Not if the games are played at a smaller venue …like say, Fertitta Center.

Another tenant UH can gain added revenue from in addition to the XFL at TDECU next year.

the comets can play at rox's practice court. it'll be a packed house every night of standing room only. most likely filled with coaches, staff, and crew.
