So, you do agree with using short sample sizes (for example, a player with a hitting streak over the past week) to determine who should be playing?
Are you sure? There are different rules for hometown athletes you know. MLB might delay action until after he season.
Sure. Just bat him 8th until he shows it isn't an aberration. The shorter the length of success, the shorter the leash.
dude is not playing the same day he was arrested. and theres already rumbles of voiding his contract. Atl certainly has a case for it.
Does calling him “Musty” make you feel good? Can’t respect anything you post when you do that. Shows me a bias u uave with him being a manager.
Dusty implies OLD. Musty implies mildewed. not much difference. Am I biased against Dusty? You bet. He used to be a Dodger.
the op said he won't be on the field this weekend. outside of that i couldn't careless about him. if hou wasn't playing atl, i wouldn't even have mentioned it
OPS is a mathematical abomination, and there are better fan and non-fan stats for measuring a batter's hitting ability. That said, using OPS would likely yield better lineups than Dusty.
W/oba is the more accurate stat but OPS works well too. OPS is still a great indicator of who is productive and who is not, but it’s more of a broad stroke.
Do you homeboys still fill out score cards? I just have twitter and threads to scroll through. It's almost impossible much respect if you do.
