I meant what took them so long to actually implement that sort of system... There was big backlash for instant replay in baseball (and football... and basketball) before it finally stuck for good. The same thing will happen when they eventually come around to an electronic zone. It will be accepted and the calls will be accurate and everybody will move on to the next thing to complain about.
I doubt it is worse overall. The Astros hitters have gotten hosed this year, and the Astros pitchers haven't gotten the same zone.
football and basketball have replays but they still get calls wrong even with it. and we also know the length of these reviews and constant of it goes on at often times way too long and disrupts the rhythm of the game. The purpose of actual replays is to get it right and it doesn't take lengthy minutes to do so. If you still get the call wrong and take all that time it defeats all the purpose
