Yes. This is about supply and demand. There is a large supply of people wanting to come here and there is a large demand by employers to hire migrant labor. As long as that exist enforcement will be difficult. Nearly all business groups know this and this the GOP engages in attention grabbing moves like build the Wall that really do much rather than address the fundamental causes.
I doubt he / she / they are going to change their mind. We’ve seen them move the goalpost and outrightly ignore facts that are counter to their opinion. I’m posting this information more for others who forget what Mueller found.

I always thought we taught history so we know where we came from and to learn from our past mistakes so we don't repeat them and celebrate the good things we did along the way also. So they will only be the "positive" spin and gloss over all the bad? I don't get this way of thinking, I never felt bad personally when we dove into the bad stuff, I did wonder what the hell our ancestors were thinking but I never took it as an assault to me and the gop thinks that all these kids after hearing the bad stuff feel guilty, that was never my experience.
