This marks the 12th anniversary to the ... End of American Exceptionalism.

All heads bowed, all eyes closed and we say a prayer to the god that has abandoned us.

The Ruble Rouser Moves to Fix a 'Glitch' in the Affordable Care Act

Biden's move would fix what is known as the “family glitch,” a loophole that has prohibited more than 5 million people from accessing
subsidized health plans on the ACA marketplaces even if they don’t actually have other affordable options.

“It’s a huge deal,” says Katie Keith, director of the Health Policy and the Law Initiative at Georgetown Law’s O’Neill Institute.
“It’s one of the biggest things the Biden Administration can do on its own to expand coverage.”

The fix, which the Administration can make on its own without relying on the Democrats’ slim majorities in Congress,
represents Biden’s latest effort to use the ACA as a vehicle to lower costs and improve coverage for Americans.

    not surprisingly,

Number of uninsured Americans drops to an all-time low
, as announced by the Dept of Health and Human Services.

The findings come days after Democrats hammered out a 725-page climate, health care and tax deal that would extend generous federal subsidies for people who buy private health insurance that are credited with driving down the uninsured rates.

Every Repug in the US Senate voted against this deal, which will extend the tax subsidy on health care insurance for another 3 years

Healthcare is not my industry, so I appreciate your perspective. This one observation resonates because I see the same thing in my own industry -- building a hybrid system doesn't give you the best of both worlds, it lands you between two stools. Whether its capitalism or socialism, it's probably more important to pick a single philosophy with everything about the market in harmony with that philosophy.

Rice's public policy school published a report on the impact of the ACA on Texas over the last ten years. They find that despite state government opposition, the ACA has reduced our uninsured population by a quarter. Looking at the Numbers: 10 Years of Data on the Affordable Care Act Reveal Benefits for Texans | Baker Institute.

My business in Indiana is an ACA business and i can't tell you how many hundreds of my patients are dirt poor but because of ACA are eligible to receive CPAPS and other life saving equipment. I can't tell you how jib of a life saver this has become for ordinary folks even in red states

Trump is now promising to get rid of ACA which now insurers over 40 million people. It's disgusting but the MAGAt trolls @Salvy will tell us how the economy will somehow be better for folks if trump wins.

It's disgusting how stupid hos followers are
