    perspective.
That is one epic, monster collapse, that doesn't seem to be ending any time soon.

Go back and look at the Astros’ record in August since 2017. I”ll wait…

If they fire Dumbo they still have a chance to win

Scary thing about a 5 game playoff series. We could easily be down 0-2 with elimination staring at us with these last two performances.

really miss Brantley and his ability to extend the lineup.

I'm waiting for the COLE injury announcement. (pure speculations about what else could go wrong for Yankee fans)

I was wondering the same thing. Musty mentioned he was unavailable after the Urquidy game after 2 days rest and only 1.1 innings in 4 games. Undisclosed injury or pregnant wife due?

Fire? Not gonna happen. Not rehire? Good chance.

The plan is to go out with a WS. But Musty is snake-bit by his on field management skills.

Another disappointing loss. This time it's on Verlander. The MIGHTY White Sox beat us again and made us look like fools.

No, but he does play 1B and LF and DH. IF Musty will let him.

This. If something goes wrong, THEN explain the bullpen limitations and why you left him in.

The Stros make me appreciate Croatia's 1992 basketball squad vs the Dream team!

The guy that made the most impactful managerial decision in Astros history in game 7 of the 2019 World Series.

Baseball is weird. The 2017 Dodgers won 104 games. They also managed to have a stretch where they went 1-16 in August and September. (their one win was a 1-0 game) They closed out the season 13-22 ... and then made it to the World Series.

This is kind of why these games now are pretty irrelevant given the division and bye lead. Outside of players getting injured, how the team is playing today has very little impact on how they will be playing in October.

His decisions in 2017 were just as impactful...

You are missing the point. The Astros record in August since 2017 has been average to awful.
