Hate to break it to you guys, but this team is not winning a World Series this year. I don’t trust any lineup with that will give major post season ABs to guys like Peña, Maldy, Meyers, and Chas. I hope I’m wrong of couese.

 

Everyone should be questioning why Neris was pitching in that spot. Everyone should be questioning why Dusty didn’t walk Manconda. Everyone should be questioning what exactly is wrong w Yordan. We should ALL be questioning why Yuli continues to bat second of why Dubon gets more run than Mancini or exactly what can get Pena going again. And frankly we should all be asking more from our freaking lineup.

But it’s one game. One (more) infuriatingly frustrating game.

 

Well honestly you don't lose Correa, Yuli, and Brantley over the course of a year and expect your offense to be as dominant as in the past, unless you are delusional.

Seattle is absolutely no threat to the division.

 

Agree. Astros are a really good team, just not good enough to go all the way till they fix the offense.

 

But then you acquire a more than capable Mancini and Vasquez and........ you don't play them.

This offense could be improved. But it won't be.

 

Maybe but Ol Orange Wagon has at least cost us 5-8 wins with bad bubble gut feelings this year, thus far it seems... Add those, and I'll have to call this team "dominant" ...
