I get that Astros fans are spoiled about the Astros in many things. I get that the lineups Dusty puts out will likely win 100+ games, and not matter much in the long run. For this team, Dusty is more frustrating than anything. I don't think having great players while the other division teams don't should mean fans shouldn't be upset when the manager doesn't use every advantage he has. Yes. Meyers's arm was average last year, but sucks this year. Chas for whatever reason isn't viewed as a CF.
Ooh my prediction line-up today was little off, didnt realize Pena was good to go already, but close enough with Dubon still in line-up.
He went on to say that he did that with Bonds on his day off one time and it turned into an 18 inning game so it was like Bonds didn't get his day off. Dusty also not aware that long extra inning games are mostly a thing of the past now.
I just finished a 30 for 30 about MJ playing minor league baseball in Birmingham. He looked like 2022 Jake Meyers out there swinging that bat.
Won't be mean much if we can't stack up important wins at the same time. This team is too good to only be 2.5 games ahead in the AL.
How many runs will the Astros have today against Cease? Only one earned run or less in each of his last 14 starts. I'll predict Astros score 5 runs against him.
