With moves like that and allegedly being the best prospect since Lebron, why are u shooting 35% from the field in Euroleague at 7’3?

now he’s gone down to a much worse league so he can pad stats I guess

I agree with 1 more tank for him. But wouldn’t be opposed to just playing hard and installing a winning culture either. The struggles are real

    Lots of upside.

Longer than anyone in the league.

    Decent off the ground.

    Good touch potentially.

    Very agile for his size.

    Good shot blocking instincts.

    Fast in transition.

    Can switch really well

    Lots of concerns.

Contrary to what some video's say, he does not handle being bumped inside very well at all.

For all the hype he hasn't been a good shooter.

His performance in the U-19 has been over hyped.

He can be beaten defensively by good strong passing.

He is a massive man that already has a list of injuries.

    Draft:

He will go number one assuming he avoids stress fractures.

His upside is massive, but he really hasn't accomplished a lot yet.

The media keeps claiming all these teams are tanking for him. That is an exaggeration. Teams are tanking because this draft is expected to be very strong at the top. There are a number of kids with a lot of potential.

Injury history already is a huge concern. Say what you will about Chet, he has been durable so far. I would still take the risk and draft him #1.

I predict he will be 9'1" by the start of the season. :D

Also keep an eye on his teammate #15... not for his talent, but pray to whatever gods you believe in that he makes it to the NBA even though he's 34.

Euroleague is much harder to score and pad stats than in the NBA. People actually try hard to on defense and are much more physical. Luka himself said so, not surprised he will struggle in the Euroleague as a thin underdeveloped dude.

I'm sure Euroleague was hard for a 16 year old Luka.

However, the idea that a 16 year old Luka would do anything except ride the bench in the NBA is laughable.

I just don’t see it… The hype is way over the top!
Part of me would rather take scoot … Seems like the safer pick

Seems like an interesting person. But that also feels like a red flag to me lol. I feel like the best prospects are gym rats or lovers of the game, not the guys putting out their clothing lines, rap albums or paintings.

Rockets Need a Point Guard, I think it is better to have a Superstar Point Guard

It depends on Alperen Sengun if he is Starter Material or a 6th man (similar to Kevin McHale)
McHale and Sengun are really similar players.

Not sure if I feel this comparison tbh. McHale was a truly prolific scorer (26.1ppg in 1986-87) and a legit rim protector (2.8bpg in 1985-86). But I think Sengun is already more of a playmaker than McHale ever was.
