Arsenal looked amazing today. What a turn around for the club. Gabriel Jesus is a revelation and the perfect player to move on from the Auba/Laca pairing we had before.

Manchester United should just be called Lakers Across the Pond. What a dumpster fire.

It's unbearable how bad United are right now. They 'are just completely bumfuzzled on the field. How can a team of professionals not know how to properly deal with a press at this point? 4 goals in a half to f***ing Brentford? What the f*** is Liverpool going to do to us next week? 8? 10? It's so bad you can't even pinpoint where it's coming from because not one player is performing. I realize it's a new coach and it's early...but f***ing hell it's embarrassing to be a United fan right now.

To top it off, that horrid 3rd kit just made the day all the more painful.

    Feel bad for Harry Mcguire.

He needs to find a new team.

He is not going to win anything with MU.

Look at the body languages of Tuchel and Conte.

If you look closely, you can tell that they don't like each other.

I can't imagine anyone likes Tuchel...including his own players. He just comes off as such a douche.

Who would have thought that the matchday 3 meeting between Liverpool and United will see each team looking for their first win of the season.

He and Klopp have one thing in common, that they are actually sort of ok outside the pitch, but they become extremely fanatic during the match. Simeone and Mourinho are like that as well, of course. And Guardiola, too.

Why would Real allow him to leave, especially after the season started? Modric and Kroos could thrive these last years because Casemiro had their backs. Without him, they're pretty much unprotected. And why would Casemiro move to that dumpster fire? Really weird.

Casemiro wanted to go. That's probably the most important factor. There was the belief that someone had to go from the midfield and Casemiro was the player that could get the most in return. Madrid also believes in Tchouameni and Camavinga. Very unlikely that either reach his level of defensive midfiel play, but that is what they have to believe now. They can also try Alaba in that position, he played there at Bayern.

Sad that he's gone, for sure. He is still the best at that position, he's a professional, and great for team chemistry. Madrid likely lost a trophy or two with his exit. He'll do well at United, but I don't know if he's a savior. I mean, he could still play the best defensive midfield in the world and United could still disappoint.

*get paid ... no sane person moves from the CL winner to a dysfunctional EL team without proper compensation.

Rarely, he plays it regulary for the national team though.

That's exactly why I don't understand this move from Real's side. No adequate replacement on the market, Tchouameni and Camavinga are unproven, Modric and Kroos will struggle without their life insurance. But let's see how it turns out.

Well Man U has a long way to go, but there are too many prima donnas who don't play hard that need to be moved.

Loving how Leeds is playing, no fear, press, press, press.

I was really interested in the City/Newcastle match this week to see after a couple transfer windows how Newcastle would look. The main takeaway is that they have great speed/athleticism in the midfield and up front which made them dangerous on the counter and lead to their goals. By the last 20 minutes City was dominating and you could see that Newcastle was gassed but City was only able to rescue a point after trailing 3-1. A draw was the right result for this match as Newcastle had stretches of the match where they controlled the game and limited City's chances. A real fun match to watch as it was open for nearly the entire 90 minutes.

Arsenal continue to look strong and while not on the same level as the Brentford/United result, Leeds beating Chelsea 3-0 was crazy to watch. It wasn't some fluky result as Leeds continued to put pressure on Chelsea and force errors that directly lead to goals. That seams to be the main takeaway so far this season is that any club can and will press the top clubs and that may be the right strategy instead of sitting back as top clubs don't see that too often so it stands to reason a lesser team has a better chance pressing a top club as opposed to giving them 90 minutes of offensive practice in which most top clubs will score.

Looking forward to today's Liverpool/United match. After two draws if United are able to get a draw or win I think we have to start asking if something is wrong with Liverpool this season.
