Wow you have gotten edgy lately. No one thinks KPJ will make WCS great, but it is nice to have a 3rd string backup big around....who can fill in at times as a lob option. If he even makes the team. DD
I like it. I'd give Bruno the chance to beat him out in camp, but if Bruno doesn't look great then WCS would be solid. I'd like to keep Boban as the 3rd big either way for vibes, so cut whoever doesn't win out of Bruno and WCS Having flexibility with line-ups is important, I want a big man to put out there against certain teams when Sengun is on the bench. other teams he may barely play but that's fine
Was that a ‘c’ or an ‘n’ in the last word of your post? Seriously, I’m one who thinks he is capable of NBA rotational minutes. Needs the right system, support and commitment.
@saleem any thoughts? We talked about how Silas might go after D Powell, Boban, WCS as they become available I posted yesterday how WCS numbers as Roll-Man (Pick-n-Roll) from 19/20 Willie Cauley-Stein: 45.3 freq....93.5 NBA percentile
Definitely not a "winning" player. He's just an athlete honestly. Been having it easy on the court his entire life until he got to the NBA and had to be professional while playing against other professionals.
Meh. He’s the kind of guy who could stick around at the end of the bench for a lot of teams, but that’s all he really is at this point. There’s worse dudes out there I guess.
A few short years ago WCS had all the potential to be a great player. My how the mighty has fallen. Maybe Silas knows something we don’t about him because their time in Dallas together. I pined for a trade for him years ago. (Back then if paired with Harden he would have been Clint Capela like for a fraction of the cost) His time with the Kings all but killed his career. He got really soft over time after such a promising collegiate career. Who knows maybe there is something still there.
