He definitely looks bigger. Hasn't lost his creativity, which at times almost looked methodical, like the game is slowing down for him, which is good. More of a challenge today, for sure. Was wondering the same thing. Would love to be able to watch it.
Game will start 18:00 hrs GMT. I am going to watch through NTV live in the UK. I guess anyone can watch in the US also.
Does he look any taller or longer? This ultimately will determine his ceiling more than anything else, I believe.
Sengun comes in with 3 minutes left in a game that looked like it was over and now they are in OT, lol
Definitely bigger. Garuba said in an interview they used to meet after games to dinner together in Houston... Rockets need to pay attention to their nutrition.
....and managed to get foul shots 5 seconds after he was in the game from an off ball foul on Dragic. May have been a bit of an exaggeration but the situational awareness is off the charts.
That isn't what I'd call good weight. Garuba was on same program obviously. Stamina going to be bigger problem for both of them.
Yeah. Hoped to see him trimmed down. People talk about him needing to get stronger, but it needs to be lean strength to be more explosive, quicker off his feet, laterally etc. With less than ideal length, he needs as much lift as possible. Adding weight is not going to help that.
but why? wheres the incentive to perform? he was the best player last year and still got a shitty role and crumbs of playing time this is what tanking gives you...it rewards incompetence...theres no substitute for winning
