I like KD, one of my favorite players but this is a garbage human move. He and Kyrie picked Nash as the head coach, the staff consists Jacque Vaughn who is black, Royal Ivey who is black, Ryan Forehan-Kelly who is black, Amare Stoudamire who is black and Tiago Splitter (do your research on the origins of Brazil). There are three other coaches two are white, one is Serbian. If he's not feeling Nash because of his overly simplistic offense and, lack of defensive acumen or the embarrassing coaching display in the playoffs he needs to nut up and say that. I'm sure if he would've went to the owner and said Nash had to go before demanding a trade I'm pretty sure Nash would've been gone but to phrase it in such a way that mocks the true meaning of diversity disingenuous and lame. At this point its obvious that KD just wants the destruction of the nets organization. Maybe he feels they didn't treat Kyrie properly with the contract extension, maybe he doesn't like how the situation with James went, either way KD is done with the nets. Stone should be on the phone: KPJ, Gordon, Nwaba, Trey Burke, Sterling Brown, 1 first(Nets own pick) and cancel the pick swaps for Kyrie Irving Kyrie Green Eason Bari Alpy LFG!!
I said this when it happened. KD is trying to make the situation as uncomfortable as possible so they pretty much can’t have him around the team.
Latest Kyrie Irving Nets rumor is either most predictable or ridiculous one yet I’m told he wanted his new contract to guarantee he wouldn’t have to play more than 60 games in a season and would not have to play any back-to-backs. Which he apparently referred to as “inhumane.” Who knows if this is true. Charania is basically Irving’s PR guy, so I’m sure he will have something to say if it is not. But the fact it seems completely possible on its face is problem enough. Because it’s always something with Irving. The only reliable thing about him is his unreliability. https://elitesportsny.com/2022/08/1...ither-most-predictable-or-ridiculous-one-yet/
In 2012, Durant was voted most likeable athlete. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1409505-most-likable-athletes-in-sports
Yup. People forget Durant made a major heel turn when he left OKC. Remember this? Kevin Durant on increased price of his shoes: ‘I’m not a $88 player’ https://www.si.com/.amp/nba/2016/07/07/warriors-kevin-durant-kd-sneakers-shoes-nike-increased-price
I just learned about his stance on back to backs and I'd still happily take Kyrie for 60 games over KPJ for 82 games lol. Kyrie with this roster for 60 games makes the rockets a playoff team imo
I agree with your earlier statements but I wouldn't want notorious 'me above everyone else' personality Kyrie anywhere near this team of young players not to mention it would stunt the development of most of your young guys because Kyrie is a higher usage player AND Kyrie's age doesn't fit the timeline of the rest of our young guys so it doesn't really make a lot of sense for him either because the team is not far enough in their development to help him win a title either. I want to win now just as bad as the rest but Kyrie is literally the very last guy on the planet I would bring in to get there. He could quit the NBA and go live on a mansion on a reservation somewhere and frankly we aren't close enough to contention to risk that level of shenanigans. Our future is bright enough that there is no need to take on a Kyrie level of risk.
Les Alexander should call up Kyrie to champion his animal rights activism. Adopt an NBA player. Rescue them from inhumane treatment of back-to-backs!
