These were the first two presidential impeachments where Senators of the Presidents own party voted to remove. In the second impeachment 60 senators voted to remove. In both impeachments there were republicans who said that the house managers had made their case but didn’t vote to remove either because they felt that the votes should decide or in the second one that the voters decided.

67 senators is a high bar but this the most successful Presidential impeachments in the history of the US.

 

Uh oh. CNN fake news is reporting that feds served trump with a subpoena in June.

Right wing Twitter told me that the feds were terrible people and didn’t even bother to subpoena trump like they should have, and a search warrant / “RAID?!?!” Is totally ridiculous

Could it be that team trump said they complied with the subpoena, and then an informant told the government that ol Trumpy kept classified stuff (for his vanity, as blackmail, as self defense from the myriad investigations), to sell or show off to foreign spies)?

maybe he hasn’t only violated the fed records act, but he lied to feds and failed to comply with the subpoena.

 

during Trump presidency, a subpoena were a pile of toilet paper the republicans used to wipe their a$$ with. I am not overly familiar with how subpoena should work, but that sht is the most useless sht i have seen.
