No way he escapes charges. The insurrection alone has mounting evidence of his crimes, even if they didn't find any evidence left at his home for taking classified documents. He's had a year and a half to get rid of any paper documents, but he can't hide from his other crimes being investigated not only in D.C., but in several other states. It's only a matter of time.
