So far taking legal actions against Trump had worked out better than hopped for. This is a fantastic start to cleaning some house. I would hope there is no actual violence, but if there is, the positive will be that we can remove the threats. Also, for all of the law abiding citizens that trust in the rule of law and our democracy, it encourages them to have faith and support the system. The alternative is a system where the powerful are not held accountable but the rest of us are. It also shows how to get away and fix the mistakes from the last coup so the next one has a better chance to work.

Yep. A sad sight and a tarnish on the United States but also framed to help Trump appear more popular.
This is the most concrete evidence that the rule of law is still working. We don't know what was taken. We don't know if Trump is guilty, but we do know what the evidence pointed towards.
