In some hope for the party Eric Greitens, the other "Eric". was soundly defeated in MO's primary. For those who don't remember Greitens had to resign from Governor for abusing his wife and had run commercials targeting RINO's.

But the Eric that won was one of the state AGs that signed on with Paxton's idiotic suit to try and overturn the election.

GOP Eric's are some dumb mf'ers.

So was it the Republican party that had candidates that were running against Democracy win their primary over Republicans who voted to uphold democracy?

Trump transformed the party into a bunch of radicals, who are fighting the Democratic process. Now we have a bunch of Republican candidates refusing to concede elections they indisputably lost, promoting conspiracy theories about the results and engaging in local battles over certification. It's as Un-American as it gets.

NEXT ON THE GOP’S LIST: STARVING QUEER KIDS

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who last week joined more than 20 other Republican attorneys general to file a lawsuit against the Biden administration over a Department of Agriculture school meal program that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a July 28 memo telling Florida public schools to ignore USDA guidance clarifying they can’t deny lunch money to queer and trans youth.

I said this in the Alex Jones thread but will repeat it.

This says a lot about the current “Conservative Movement” that an admitted con man is being seen as a martyr. It explains how hucksters like Dr. Oz and of course Trump himself have come to dominate the party.

Congressman introduces amendment to anti-abortion bill that would ban erectile dysfunction drugs

Indiana state Rep. John L. Bartlett proposed an amendment Thursday to a bill as ludicrous as the anti-abortion bill the state is attempting to pass. The congressman suggested that if pregnancy was “an act of god,” then “impotency” must also be. Obviously, he was illustrating a point about bodily autonomy.

“We’re forcing young girls to mothers, but not forcing the men to be fathers,” Bartlett argues. “This bill makes it illegal to prescribe, distribute, or supply erectile dysfunction drugs or sexual impotency drugs. If, in fact, pregnancy is an act of god, then impotency must be an act of god,” Bartlett says.
