That should be dangerous to you. You should be worried about that. Creating a culture where politicians can't ever investigate nor criticize other politicians potential wrongdoing is incredibly dangerous, and we've seen what's happened in other countries when that happens. And yet you and so much of your party is embracing it, that's scary. Go read a history book for all of our sakes

Anytime an ideology has become based around worshipping a person rather than embracing certain ideals, it's led to bad things.

Watching Republicans criticize Fetterman when his opponent is one of the most disingenous carpetbaggers I've ever seen, clearly just running because he wants more money and power and not because he has any genuine beliefs, is really something

For normal people, it is hard to fathom how people can support the MAGA, election denying, white Christian nationalist slate of candidates.

As much as I would like to be optimistic, the reality is that a large, vocal part of the Republican Party wants more white, less brown/black, more Christian, less science, more straight, less gay. They believe america was better back then, and there is no problem with burning down the institutions. After all, the institutions aren’t worth anything if the country isn’t white/Christian/nationalist/straight American. And there is the feeling that this was their country for decades, and now it’s being taken away from them. They are being attacked, they are the victims, they are the oppressed patriots who must rise up to save the land.

It is ridiculous. Ignorant. Bigoted. But that is what’s going on. Viewed from that lens, it is easier to understand what’s going on with the MAGA white Christian nationalist movement. I would love for someone to convince me that this is incorrect.
