    Can Leon play Cf?
He needs to work on his plate discipline also. Strikes out way to much.

Y’all do realize the Stros are 30 games over 500 and have been to 5 straight ALCSs right? SMH the world isn’t over

He’s not there yet. They can only reach the 20s

being the perennial #2 is certainly a lofty goal

I hope the Astros looked into this trade possibility.

He can play LF, 1B and DH. Based on Gurriel needing rest (being better than him this szn), no clear better LF unless Alvarez wants to play LF… it’s clear he will play a ton.

Understand your point and we are a legit contender

But I can’t think of a better time for us to have gone for it in a much bigger way

Master Bader was a negative ghost rider.

It’s a real shame society has not come up with a better outlet for people to vomit their negative energy besides the Internet. But here we are.

If you think the Astros goal is to be a perennial #2, or if you think any other team would NOT want to switch places with us, then quite frankly I don’t know what to tell ya bud. Every organization would take that result everyday and twice on Sundays

Leon can play CF and although he's improving on cutting down on his k's, I can see him striking out alot as well while he adjusts to the majors.

I’m happy with Mancini and vasquez with the state of the Astros farm system right now.

I won’t be happy though if they ride the benches during the post season.

Could've done that before the season but went with a declining Baez wasting either 7 or 9 mil in the process.

Click did a good job this deadline but trading for a guy like Bader or my choice Merrifield would have left no holes in the lineup. Click had the prospects to get Merrifield and chose to go with Meyers and McCormick instead. Best we can hope for is Leon comes up and tears it up for 3 months. Which is certainly a possible outcome, but not one I would bet on.

Yuli hit for his best avg July.

Bregman has a kid now, something to fight for  he’s been solid recently.

Tucker had a bad month but still boasts a good war.

Brantley is the McCullers version of added bonus.

Vasquez is a basically 2x wRC+ Player compared to Maldy this year.

why are we worried? It’s about the postseason folks

it takes 2 to tango. No one knows what the asking price was on any deal. This team has earned our support and I trust we didn’t do foolish trades just for the sake of making moves. We would’ve made moves today if they made sense. Didn’t materialize that way. Onto the next. Go stros

Chas McCormick has a better bat. If Myers turns it around, he's probably a better option too.

Bader has also graded out as a very average CF this year weirdly. Not sure if there's something wrong with him.

I'm not sure why people that are content with what Click did accept that their are others who expected more. Did Click manage to improve the team yesterday? Absolutely, but there was a glaring hole at CF. There's no denying that. There were other options out there. Yankees had a hole at CF and they made a move for Bader. There were options out there.

It takes two to tango, but I hope Brantley is coming back. We will find out once Click addresses the media today.

Here's to us all cheering for the team in October.

I hope he sticks to his principles and doesn't take the jab. Toronto Fail.
