I can see Mancini fitting in well with this clubhouse, like pretty much everybody that has come though here, and enjoying this playoff run so much that theres gonna be a real shot at retaining him for more years.

Mancini was awesome in the press conference, I feel like he’ll fit right in and be a favorite. Vasquez looks a little uncomfortable, still think he’ll come around but he has a weird answer about going back to Boston in free agency…

Can you blame the guy....he's going from an everyday starting catcher to be a backup to an inferior catcher

Mancini will be a fan favorite. I really hope he signs an extension in the off-season. Orioles fans loved him for a reason. He seems like a guy that once he settles in, it’s a lock. Get him involved in the community, make him an Astro for life. Lives will change because of him. Blessing of a perk for him and his family is being in one of the best places to fight cancer. Big fan of his and hope he accomplishes the task of winning a ring.

He'll probably go back to Baltimore

In a sport that loves the HR ball and offense, why did Baltimore think it a good idea to move back the left field wall a quarter mile?

I watched some video on Mancini, and I immediately thought this guy is a very slow runner. It’s like he is wearing ankle weights.

Well...pretty sure Vasquez is faster than Maldonado and Mancini is faster right now than Brantley.

Obviously, Vasquez has done it with the Red Sonks, but Mancini has the look of a guy who’ll get some dramatic, clutch playoff hits.

    Trey Mancini = Aubrey Huff

Anyone else seeing the similarities? Obviously 1B instead of 3B...

    As hitters sure.

Would rather have have Mancini in my clubhouse 100% of the time.

Was thinking similar caliber hitters. Not really allstars but not average either.

Their OPS are .806 v .797 for career numbers.

Huff played the corners and so does Mancini except for third. Neither are /were particularly great fielders.

    Lefty/Righty difference of course...

Hopefully we didn't give up another Zobrist though I'm high on Mcdermott as a potential closer Josh Hader type...

What hurts the hitters helps the pitchers...

they were never able to attract or keep good pitchers with that short porch.

Was Aubrey a cancer in the clubhouse?
