I was amused with them going for Soto. I was pissed with Bell. I’ll be incensed if they get Drury. I hate the entire West and the Northeast of this country. I wish we could divorce states.
Hockey had someone very similar to him in the form of the Montreal Candieans’ Marc Bergavin. A mad gambler who overhauled the roster nearly every year. The result? Most of the time they got spanked in the first round. Then in 2020-2021, he walked up to the Roulette table, put it all on Green, and pulled off three massive upsets to get Montreal to its first Stanley Cup finals in decades. Sadly for him, the magic ran out and they lost to Tampa Bay. The very next year, his gambling went bust as everyone’s contract expired and the Canadiens became the worst team in Hockey. He got fired, but his gambling spirit lived on, as they won the draft lottery.
Because the Phillies are the Padres of the East. That, and philly has no faith in its farm system, considering that the best player to come out of the Phillies farm in the last decade is Aaron Nola, everyone else busted.
No matter what happens the Astros aren’t going to make the World Series this year, simply because it’s a even number year…2023 is going to be a whole different story…
Padres on the verge of Trading for Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Deal seems imminent. Going the other way is Wil Myers and Snell . Padres paying 75% of the remaining cash on Snell and Myers
Only a matter of time before everyone west of the Rockies starts begging the south and Midwest for water because they all had the bright idea of building cities in the desert. At this rate, there won’t be a west coast for long.
That is true, actually. But I've been saying WE'RE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES AGAIN AND WE'RE GONNA WIN IT THIS YEAR!!!!! ... for a while now. So it shall be true and spoken into existence.
That doesn't explain the Angels part. They traded an MLB player that wasn't on last year of contract/control for a prospect. I'm sure it has happened before, but Brandon Marsh sucks and he might be the best MLB they've traded in a decade for a prospect.
