Woke lunatics and PETA want to cancel Gordon Ramsay for Lamb video, he’s a chef breh

I don't know about woke, I think to many try and apply this to everyone who disagrees with them. PETA has always been "out there" with there messaging, that's the groups focus since they were founded in 1980....I call it silly now and it was silly then, but hey, to each his own, it doesn't affect me or my 8 oz medium rare filet. I think we tend to overreact to any and all things that we do not agree with, I do like some of there past ads

The US lamb industry does need to be called out though. The lamb sold in supermakets are too many weeks old to be labelled lamb. It's mutton in every other country.

Americans don't eat enough lamb. When they do try it. They are turned off by the taste and toughness of mutton.

 

Yea, the term "woke" was coined by black people during the Jim Crow era (or shortly after) who didn't want to get attacked/murdered by racists as they traveled from town to town.

"When going to X town, stay woke"

aka, be aware of your surroundings. It's sound advice for anybody.

People, mostly whites but on both sides, have now fully appropriated the term to mean something else entirely.
