Seems a bit light given how desperate the Braves are for that fifth starter

Not good unless our pitching coaches can teach him to throw strikes again

Jake got a lot of (unwarranted IMO) hate as the 4th/5th/6th starter

Signed him after Jon Heyman’s report that Framber was done for the season.

    Anyways…Will Smith? Meh, whatever.
    Good luck in ATL.

The Astros definitely needed a lefty reliever, and I am glad that they were able to move Odorizzi, but hmmm. Not sure about this one. Maybe our pitching coaches can fix Will Smith.

This is an underwhelming trade return and Astros fans were far too harsh on Odo during his time here. This trade makes me wonder if Odo wanted out and we more or less granted his wish given the SP crunch. Maybe our FO thinks we can work with Smith but part of me would rather keep Odo if this was the best they could do

He's making a lot of money to not be good; hope he turns it around and wins another WS in Houston.
