    He would be a good fit for a team brimming with corner OFs who can hit but lack the range for CF. Astros seem to have the opposite need with Brantley being hurt.

    McCormick has a higher OPS+. Mullins has a higher WAR from 180 more PA AND a higher dWAR. His Field value is too high and Urquidy.Garcia's is too low, but I think all three have similar value.

    One pitcher for Mullins seems about right to me.

    Mullens in CF and McCormick in LF/DH would work for me.

    Steals more bases at a better rate; not sure what their raw speed is but Mullins puts it to use. Defensive numbers I've seen put Mullins above McCormick in terms of range factor and he guns down more runners.

    Again, though, apples to apples, I agree with you. I'd rather pick up an improvement at 1B than at CF, given the possible names mentioned.
