Almost like they didn't see Haggerty fail miserably last night at doing that.

The runner on third is the only thing that matters, and you chose to pitch to Mr. 1.100 OPS with a base open vs the guy who leads his team in double plays with one out.

    Stupid.

Won 3/4, still gained ground over them.
Yordan is like FedEx- Air and (this time) Ground

Big weakness for Peña on that slider but typical for a rookie. He’ll get better

I woke up to Seattle fans on Twitter hoping Yordan would get drilled today.

    How sweet it is.

He might be better in the pen than anyone we can get. He's throwing competitive strikes early.

Yep. I get left on left…but, it’s Yordan vs a brand new major leaguer. Walk him and pitch to Bregs with a force at any base.

And a bunt basically forces the Mariners to walk Yordan no matter what. Thankfully Servais is just a bigger dumbass than we all thought.

Good call not to do one there imo.

Two ways to look at it gents.

Personally, I don't want Alex Bregman up with the bases loaded. I haven't even looked but my assumption is he leads the Stros in double play balls.

Quite right. Though bringing the young pitcher in
1.15 WHIP for the year. I almost can't believe it.

Yankees lose. Astros re-gain the game in the standings that was lost yesterday.
