I just got back from Vegas. I stayed at the Tropicana. Wasn't a bad place. I believe we set it up through expedia.com. Trop is very close to the MGM Grand and New York New York. hopefully you will have better gambling instincts than me. I lost 275 bucks.

Make sure to ask to see if they can upgrade you up to a lake view with that offer. They are supposed to if they have any available. If they won't do it over the phone, ask when you check in.
