    Let's try to translate it.

BEIJING 30 June 6am: Deal is officially done!! T-Mac has flied to houston town for the Press conference the next day, while Steve went to visit Orlando one day earlier. All changed in no time.

6 hours aftern the offical announcement, during night at Dallas Yao sighed slightly and said: "I already know....somebody comes and some other leaves..."

    Anyone continue...

    deep...

    i'll translate the end.

yao ming says he's seen three trades, posey for KT, weatherspoon for moochie, and now this trade. says the first one was shocking, the second one a little sad, but by the third time he's kind of used to it. however, it's like the whole team's been traded.

10/30/2002... Yao Ming's first game. Starting 5 was Cato, Griffin, Rice, Mobley and Steve. First off the bench was KT, and second off the bench was Moochie, third off the bench was Yao. Now only Yao is left.

OK I won't call it deep but this is probably one of the better articles Yang Yi had written. So I'll try not to twist its meanings.

JVG actually drove to Dallas and spoke to Yao face to face. He asked Yao how he likes T-Mac, Yao says T-Mac has funny lazy eyes. JVG was kinda shocked and said "does that mean you don't like him?" Yao said "nah..." (original text basicly implies there's no reason to dislike him, I don't even know the guy that much.)

Yao heard Rookies has a hard time with team star players in NFL. But Francis never ever give him a hard time. Yao once proudly said "there is only one time, that's when the Dallas game I scored 30 points. Steve throw his towel at me and says 'hold it for me, rookie!' (I don't know the exact English word, but it has a negative meaning in Chinese) That's the only time he called me that. He is really a nice person."

So I actually believe Yang Ying do have legit "source". It doesn't sound like it's made up and nobody else has said it.

    Yeah, must be the scarf.

Another interesting thing is Yao compared this to the loss of his best friend. He said "what if xx (Yao's best friend) suddenly got traded to beijing, how would I feel." So yeah I think he's real sad. I reckon it's just the system China runs. In China if one of your high school classmates get transfered, you are gonna be sad for ages, but in places like America, you probably won't feel a thing. Yao just hasn't got used to that.

I know there is another thread for it but I do think Yao is not to hot on T-Mac just yet. But he will when he plays with him. If you played sports you'll know two very good players very willing to pass are super easy to mesh.

More on this, Yao said "Coach, you already made decision anyways" (so what is the point
of coming here to tell me...)

From this little event, I see diplomacy of both JVG ang Yao.

Yao said it (about 3 weeks ago) straight right, this is JVG's team!

Of course JVG was never gonna trade Yao. When trading Francis was nearly confirmed, JVG drove to Dallas by himself, and told Yao the whole story after the CNT practice session.

JVG asked" what do u think abut T-MAC?" Yao scratching his head" I think his eyes look weird, always look at people like that..." JVG shocked and asked "U don't like him?" Yao shakes his head "No..not that (i don't mean that)...."

Yao says later "I know JVG only asked me out of politeness. It was already decided when he told me".

Two days later, Yao got a call from Francis, he said on the phone"I will miss my two years together with you. Steve, take care."

Yao doesn't dislike T-MAC. He knows how good T-MAC is scoring points, and he knows T-MAC is coming for him. As early as playoffs someone has told him that. "I welcome T-MAC, but u know, people are always sentimental." "I have been with SF3 since entering NBA, he seems like a part of the Rockets
organization. For example, it's like in CBA, someday suddenly u tell me that Liwei (PG of Shanghai Sharks, Yao's best friend) got traded to Beijing. How would I feel then?"

Francis got critisized a lot these two years for not passing to Yao, missing opportunity and making mistakes too much. But off court, he never carried himself as the Big Shot in front of Yao, never gave rookie any ****. During playoffs, while having dinner with T. Johhson from NFL, hearing lots of stories about how they abuse rookies there, Yao said happily "I'm so lucky then. Only once, last season when i got 30 from the Dallas game, when back to Houston, Steve threw his towel to me smirking and said
'hey rookie, hold that for me'. That was the only time he called me that. He really is a nice guy."

    ______

    okay Yipengzhao got the rest...phew....

    (By reading the report)
Yao's manner implies that he would like to play with T-MAC.

    1.CD gave teams pursueing T-Mac a serious warning,"T-Mac
only want to play in Houston",So got the deal done befor July,1.
    2. Steve is yao's friend,bla lala.....

oh just realised i missed the first bit...wierd...i was sure i wrote that i the first post:confused:

ok let me translate from the beginning then, take it for what its worth, i'm only a translater, i'm not claiming these were the actually events or facts:)

Yao first learned rumors about the trade about 2 weeks ago. Then with each passing day it becomes more real. "I'm not prepared in my heart" said Yao "Rumors been around for the whole season, but when it actually happens, I still can't react to it. You don't play with big brother'sf3', so u don't know. He really did make huge sacrifises. Besides he played so well in the playoffs, i really thought he might be able to stay. Actually, I played really badly in the playoffs, I felt they might trade me instead."
