I guess we will just have to agree to disagree

The point is that if he was not a late bloomer he would not have spent 4 years in college and would not be a rookie at 25.

The average age of the rookie of the year winner is just over 23. Judge was 25.

    Per mlb com https://www.mlb.com/news/oldest-rookie-of-the-year-award-winners

You know damn well the Astros are not looking for a closer. There are no perfect closers out there...except for Brad Lidge after he left the Astros o_O

Yes the 2 is the “real” bullpen. ****ers faked it for the 57.

Judge first season he was 24. Not every superstar wins rookie of the year. Judge won it the next season. When I think “late bloomer” I think of guys like Justin Turner or JD Martinez. Judge won silver slugger at 25. You are way too critical saying he was a late bloomer. Also, he missed his first season in the minors due to injury.

You have to remember, the M's are the epitome of garbage. They are like a man that hasn't had sex for over 20 years, they don't know what to do when then win a little bit. Those poor fans on Twitter forgot what it feels like to win, and it shows in thier trash talk. Lol.

Yeah was hoping the team could go ahead and get the series win with Odo going tomorrow and send the Ms on their way. A split is not the end of the world because the Ms are not a threat. Astros should have been the 1 seed by now but not too worried. Still excited to see what the team can get at the deadline for the stretch run and playoffs.

This may be the dumbest comment we've heard yet.

    Thanks!

Just don’t pitch to Toro anymore. If there is a base open, then give it to him. Pitch to him only if no one is on and we have a two run lead. I’m sick of his ****! He clearly has it in for us.

Like I said agree to disagree

Obviously we have different views of what "late bloomer" means. We are human. That's allowed.

Bottom line- he's not a FA until he's 31. If he had been ready after 1 ( like Bregman) or 2 years in the minors he would make another $50+M.

I don't think it'll hurt to get another alternative closer-level pitcher at the deadline... Nobody is out there aiming for 50 saves a season anymore.. Times have changed.. Or at least let Martinez get some 9th inning save experience..

The only time of the year I don't mind losing 4 out of 6 games is right before the trade deadline. Time to pony up, Click!
