    I'm one of the biggest Pedro fans and to put him in the conversion as GOAT is probably a bit over ambitious.

    He didn't have the longevity. Can't call someone the GOAT with only 219 wins.

    Pitchers with under 225 wins, yep GOAT hands down.

    And I'm not sure what the point of his size is. That doesn't factor into the conversation.

    You can't be serious regarding size

    5'11" 170 is prob less than 10% of players ever to reach MLB just based on measurements

    Without even looking, I'd bet only <5 players on Astros 40-man equal lesser

    You can't seriously be arguing against size

    You need to seriously rework your math there.

    Just to reiterate, huge Pedro fan, he's up there with Randy Johnson, Maddux and Clemens in terms of pitchers I loved watching pitch during his era.

    Dude was unbelievably awesome.

    But Roger Clemens and Maddux have over 350 wins.

    Yep, give JV a 4 year deal worth $35M per, with incentives. Let him get to 300 W and 4000 K, and enjoy watching him do it because he is almost certainly going to be the very last to do either.
