Really classic series television. After the Rockford Files theme plays, it's followed by a description of the series by an old guy (that sounds older than me!) who gives all kinds of trivia about the show. Example? It was produced (along with James Garner) by David Chase, who years later produced The Sopranos. During the 1st season of the Sopranos, there's a scene in an assisted living home where I think Soprano's mother is being shown around, and several of the residents are watching a TV show in a common area. You can't see the picture, but playing is the theme of The Rockford Files! A tip of the hat by Chase to his old show.
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet because half of these videos are blocked for me, but... Barney Miller.
Disco CHiPs has been my ringtone for years. Never liked the Trapper John theme, but thought this one was good.
One of those I never got as a kid, but my Dad loved it. As an adult, I know why. Plenty of full episodes on YouTube.
Completely slipped my mind. Used to be one of my fav shows where I saw Howie Mandel and Denzel Washington for the first time.
