    I got an Idea
We do the Josh Bell trade Lets say Joe Perez and another Prospect

Then we go full steam ahead Ian Happ, David Robertson and Wilson Contraras
Start with Pedro Leon, Jose Urquidy, Forrest Whitley, Peter Solomon, Tyler Ivey, Shawn Dubin and J.J Matejevic
Thats a big haul I get it but think about what you get.

    Last
Odorizzi, Siri and Maton to the Cards for Alec Burleson and Zack Thompson

    Yes we traded 2 SPs

    We gained Spots
LMJ comes back bring up Brown
We add the solid BP guys in Robertson and Thompson
Burleson is ready today to contribute if we wanna see what he has
Happ takes LF but can be shifted to CF at any time and Burleson or McCormick can play LF
We get that C we where looking for and the 1B to take over for Yuli and push Yuli to the bench

Out bench will be one of the strongest in the league plus out BP will be lights out
The lineup can be moved in any direction we want it to and to top it off We can resign both Contraras and Bell with the money from Yuli and Brantley ruffly 26M
It sets us up in every aspect of what the recent talks are about.
Sending 12 out gaining 6 And saving alittle cash along the way
Basically Clearing out some of those AAAA SPs

Someone already posted about this earlier today, but Heyman now mentions a possible package.

This trade puts them out on Bell. Which in return is good news

IDk if I would do that. BUT , I could see the rangers as a fall back option doing it if they miss on SOTO. They will mostlikly get Gallo back for sure

Why would it put them out on Bell? He can be their DH full time.

So you wanna push a lineup out of Vogelbach Alonso Nayquin?

And you still wanna add Bell?

Think about that one for a sec

It should be his last game

And if Bregman is hurt the Bell trade is that much more important

Garcia isn’t really an over pay for Murphy. A gold glove catcher with an above average bat and under team control for years.

Easy enough to make Vogelbach a ph/platoon guy. Naquin is a corner OF so he’s not taking up a spot for Bell. Now I do consider it less likely to happen, I still wouldn’t consider them out of it.

Yes that’s why I said a corner OF shouldn’t keep them out on Bell. They are building the ultimate platoon team which should help them against the Dodgers in the postseason.

I'll be PISSED if we trade Urquidy. He is 3-0 with a 1.54 ERA in World Series action. Plus don't overlook the connection to the Mexican fan base... which quite honestly the Astros don't emphasize enough! Julio Urias in Los Angeles is a major marketing piece for the Dodgers... as they sell their $17.99 Estrella Jaliscos...
