Unleash the HOUnds!! Amirite @D-rock Is that how it's done? Even if they fail, we should still end up with a top 10 pick which improves our favorite team tremendously.
That was so last month ..... You know attention seekers make redundant threads and worthless (IDDIOT) threads here.
The Optimist Me says Over The Cynical Me Says Under Overall though, It seems every year I think they will win more than they actually do. And because 26-32 wins seems about right to me, it means they will win fewer than that. 25, 24, 23, ,,,, I don't know.
We are about to see if Silas can actually coach. There will be enough teams tanking this season that we should get 25-28 wins. What I would judge Silas on is being more competitive in most games. If we do not show improvement half way though the season I would fire him and let Mahmoud run the show the 2nd half. Then go into next off season with a better idea on what we need to do with a coach.
Easy OVER. They should win 32-34 games. I don't see us in the absolute bottom tier, and those teams will be tanking big time then. The Rockets should end the year on a winning note.
i was tongue in cheek in the op when I told people to bet this, I did take it myself but I’m not recommending people to gamble. With that said, I use Fanduel and the season win totals just came out on there today.
Over. These kids are going to mess up the front office tanking plans. The last resort this season is to play the kids fully, but this season the kids will be better than last season's vets (minus Gordon if he gives 100%). The game is defense and offense. Tanking teams usually rely on focusing on offense and ignoring defense. It's really going to be difficult to do that with Jabari, Tari, Tate, Gordon, Christopher playing heavy minutes while if KPJ and Green can maintain or improve upon their best defensive form last season then tanking is bye bye. There are no players in that group who can't hit an open 3 except Tate who I have a good feeling will make a small improvement in that area. Don't forget future All Stars Sengun (high/low post passing) and Green (kick outs) adding TWO new dimensions to the offense, taking pressure off KPJ. Don't get me wrong, it's going to start disastrous. But it won't take 40+ games to figure it out this time around with the new assistant coaches and the roster improvements over the summer and in the training room. I say Stone tries his hardest to force the team into losses (I don't mind, it's his job) but it's not going to work and that's going to be incredible news. I say we win somewhere between 30 and 35 games.
this honestly sounds like a fun bet . i like the over.. of course im biased but i think our defense will be much better than last year and that will make us win more games than last year
