This I agree with. Add Jalen, Jabari, and Eason what a job Stone is doing!

    Turner can play with Sengun.

    They have complementary skills.

NBA is moving towards more 2 bigs lineups.

And Rockets still need a backup 5. Not putting in all my chips on Garuba.

Rockets should be able to field small or big lineups depending on matchup - flexibility is critical.

    Turner and Sengun?

Didn’t the Pacers just try that with Turner and Sabonis?

That said, If DD nails this one, the Rockets are in ****ing business... And If Raf actually hits 7's on KPJ, put him in the GM HOF. Eyes on you J-Lucas...

By all accounts, KPJ is working his ass off and that new girl of his seems to have whipped him into shape. The biggest thing we need from him is sacrifice because the offense needs to go through Sengun.

I like sengun a lot but best player? I don’t think so.

if he was legit 7 foot then maybe because he does have a skill set very similar to the reigning back 2 back mvp jokic.

I think he can be a very good player don’t know about Allstar level although I’m not at all saying he can’t be all star level. It’s just that he’s 6’9 kinds short to be a true 5 which is do think is his natural position.

he does have all the talent in the world and his defense as well as rebounding is very underrated imo.

if he can become a 37-38% 3pt shooter then yes he’ll be an allstar player. If not he’s a very good role player maybe even starter on a good team.

He’s no Enes Kanter. He won’t be played off the court because of his poor defense. He hustles and really tries on the defensive side of the game. Plus his rebounding is pretty solid for a guy 6’9 with short wing span.

maybe even a starter, how generous!

name one thing two time allstar Domantas Sabonis does better while shooting 31.9% from 3 for his career.

The best player on this team right now is Eric Gordon.

    Well for starters he’s 6’11

he’s also avg 18+ Ppg with 12 rebounds and 5+ assist for 3 straight years.

u clearly think I’m to low on sengun.

I think a lot of you are to high on him.

he prob will be a starter but he’s atleast going to be a great role player/rotation guy.

Imo if he doesn’t develop a 3 point shot he’s going to be a guy who only starts depending on how the roster is constructed.

I don’t think I said anything bad about him I was just being realistic.

Sabonis in shoes is 6’11, Sengun is 6’10 in shoes bud Alp has a longer wingspan at 7’1 vs 6’10.
Alp is more athletic and quite a bit younger.

Sabonis never developed a great 3pt shot. His midrange isn't very impressive either. Most of his scoring comes from close range. Sabonis is a very good all around player, considered a borderline all-star.

I think if Sengun can shoot around 33% from 3 and a reliable midrange, he'll exceed Sabonis.

Sengun is a much better playmaker. He will be so much better overall than Sabonis (jr).

    False flag sir.....

I have been on the train of so many good Rocket players. That fake narrative comes from my affinity for giving end of bench players a shot.

    VSpan etc.

I wasn’t aware that his wingspan is 7’1 if it is that’s better than I thought and explains his imo rebounding which u think is underrated as well as his defense which I also think is underrated.

more athleticism I don’t know about that I’d say there about the same.

sabonis is prob a good comp for him now that some of you have brought that to my attention.

I think some of you think I don’t like sengun that’s far from reality. Iv always said I think he’s underrated on defense and the boards. He’s a solid solid player with very high IQ on the court.

but much like Sabonis he’ll need to be surrounded by a certain type of talent around him if he’s going to be a starter on a championship level team unless he’s improves his 3 point shot.

that’s really all I was trying to say about him.

maybe he proves me wrong and I hope he does, and turns into the next joker.

he def has that type of skill set.
