One of my favorites as a kid was this one, which nobody recalls. The Simpsons even copied it with Moe years later.
I guess you’ve never met a white person from California? One of my closest friends is from Sacramento and lived in LA for 10 years before he moved to Galveston where I met him. This show absolutely nails it, from their accent to the sunglasses to the way they talk about food and furniture to their obsession with driving directions.
As my sun starts to ebb from the zenith of my life, I find myself less interested in walking with my woman and by myself. I often start walks only to stop and think, is it not better to nap? It is. It may be that my children have crushed my balance stones one too many times, but what do I know of the magic of the stones? That talk is for the gods.
Oh Man, I totally forgot about all the great characters and skits over the years, totally spaced on Mr Bill............I still love weekend update, the era of norm McDonald was my favorite
This is my choice as well. The Story is that Bill Hader records those without ever seeing the script. The First time he reads it is when it is on the teleprompter with the cameras rolling.

Jimmy did it on purpose for every skit he was in. So annoying. That being said, I really loved his "your company's computer guy" sketches (MOVE!!). And his Bee Gee's impressions.
This is an excellent thread. Candice Bergen and Dan Akroyd as the children's product review needs a mention. As does most anything by Phil Hartman and Norm. eta:
I still do the Land Shark routine sometimes when I knock on a door and hear who is it. Nobody ever gets it.
