Houston Rockets Random Thought Of The Day ....2022/23 edition.

I miss the days when the score was 89-69 with 1:30 left in the 4th quarter.

 

Probably my favorite series. This was the first series win I ever witnessed as a rockets fan. Seen all those blown 2-0 leads. I love this series. Yao dominated and the role players thrived. . And Von Wafer had a crazy tomahawk jam for the baseline. T

Francis was jsut so talented. Marion was premier perimter defender and he looks helpless against Francis

 

Sucks seeing Dream move like that.

 

Dreams as the best player for Hosuton that game. Did you see the end of the game where he made the key defensive stops?

Francis couldn’t make an entry pass to save his life.

Doesn’t make it suck to see him moving like he was any less. It was a signal that the end was near……..which sucked.

He wasn’t prime Dream but he still was a good big man in the league. His career would’ve been longer if he had players with a better pg. The whole game that I posted DreamPosted up multiple times and not once could Francis make the entry pass. Check other Games between Francis and Dream and it’s the same thing. Charles Barkley made A comment about Francis (during the dnp-cd saga his second stint here) that when he was around for Francis’ rookie season ,Francis didn’t really Grow and develop like he should’ve because Rudy was the type of coach that let you figure it out. He wasnt a developmental coach. Francis Never really developed his skills and craft. Remember he was playing out of position. He wasn’t a pg at Maryland. He was the off guard. he came into the league and Houston made him the pg. it was nights when Moochie looked like the best pg on the team. And Mobley had jsut as much court vision as Francis. Francis wasn’t The pg that Sam Cassell was. And all those guards and wings during the clutch city class one could make an entry pass to Dream. Francis couldn’t. Also During that game Kenny Thomas got 4 offensive fouls fighting for position for the entry passes becaue Francis couldn’t make the entry pass.

 

There should be no excuses this season. The Rockets have built the perfect team. There is no reason why they shouldn't make some noise this season.

Yeah it's not that deep for me. Just an off the cuff comment about the way I felt about seeing him move like that.

 

Just please God let the season start so I can stop dwelling in the basement on here
