Kinda petty to give this much attention to a low level team and city imo. Our winning does all the talking, don't need to stoop to their level.
I never thought the Yankees could keep up their early on winning pace for a full season, especially because their line up has a lot a of holes and they rely on HR too much. Their home winning streak kind over glossed over some flaws of their team. I think the Astros are bit more complete, but even their current pace will take some luck to continue for the full season. This where Dusty's "rest everyone every so often" really does help along with this team having recently having 3 straight 100 win seasons helps.

That is called kicking the field goal on third and goal. Not sure why Alvarez needs a rest day as a DH with a night game tomorrow against Oakland, but this is about the long game.
If you are going to rest him, it's best to do it against good lefties. His OBP is still good, but his power is human. In fact, McCormick has a higher OPS against lefties so I really like him in todays lineup. Bregman hit lefties well until this year.
