To put the best hitter in the AL in.

Nice job JJ. Wish it didn't have to come to that but the yankees obviously don't suck. The inevitable ALCS against them is going to be insane.

“Mentality is go out there and beat them up. When we play the Yankees, our mindset is a little different.”

Thank goodness. Once Yuli struck out I figured it was going to extras.

Other than a 3 week hot stretch, he has been the weakest link on this team most this season.

I just saw Verlander in the dugout. I for sure thought he and Framber would stay on the west coast after the all star game since they gotta go to Seattle tonight!

Just glad we didn’t have to go to extra innings.

Cant wait to see what gem of a lineup Dusty puts out in game 2.

    To get walked.
How could you not anticipate that. You are wasting the best hitter, nothing more.

Our track records here speak dior themselves. I'm surprised you came up for air from under Dusty’s desk. Hope you're wearing your knee pads

So glad we pulled that one out.

I love that it was two rookies today (Lee and JJ) that accounted for 2 of our 3 RBIs, including the game winner. That is what sustains success, when an organization can just keep developing guys to come to the show and contribute to wins.

Those two 9th Inning at bats from Yuli and Chas just solidified that it would not hurt my feelings whatsoever if we upgraded 1B and OF at the deadline.

Your track record against me is not very good. Dusty has proved your wrong over and over. Then again, you may not have noticed with Trump's scrotum in your mouth. Oh well...

Stros walk-it-off on a hit as stupid as the one that tied the game
