That was my initial thought, too. Eventually the wife stops cooperating and there is not enough evidence to proceed. But is there any recent precedence for a felony domestic violence case in the NBA?

 

Especially because he's the primary breadwinner by a LONG shot; unless she's an heriess or CEO

There is literally not a single thing they could have possibly said to justify it, so it really doesn't f**king matter.

Those aren't "the real questions". The real question is how a person could possibly be stupid enough to beat on a woman on the eve of a life altering 9 figure payday. It tells me they think beating on people weaker than them isn't a big deal, just another day.

I know there is no reason to hit a woman unless she’s coming for your life. I just wanna know what they said to instigate it. All you hear about is the guy hitting the women and nobody ever ask why they did. You have to be a mental r****d to punch a women but I just what kinda **** she was talking to him

 

She didn't have to be talking **** at all. For example, in the recent documentary about XXXtentacion, there is a part where they show that he beat the ever living hell out of his girlfriend because she had, earlier in the day, laughed at a joke his friend made. Some people are so insecure and pathetic that they use violence as a tool to control others and don't even need to be provoked to get there.

I just wouldn't assume she played a role. She may have. But she may not have either. And, regardless, she didn't deserve violence and her children certainly didn't deserve to have to witness that.

 

I don't care what the woman said, she can't say anything that would make me touch her in anger. Sure, I've argued loudly and angrily in the past, I'm not perfect, but put my hands on a woman? Nah, if true, he deserves what he gets.
