Bruno is 26 years old, a seven year veteran, and playing in the summer league. He did not play in the NBA last season. I guess like with Kenneth Faried, we'll keep hearing about how the Rockets are idiots for not keeping Bruno when no other teams are interested either. At least Faried could put up stats.

What does being a pf offensively mean? I am not sure I understand how a 4 and a 5 differ now days. I think the opposing teams will have their 5s guard him bc they will have their quicker 4s guarding Smith. And between him and Smith, I think he will spend more time in the post

Well anytime you have Garuba or Bruno or anyone (insert name here...Boban/M Chriss) that does not
shoot 3's......then that's your Center on offense.

Center basically is a screen setter that also plays the Dunker Spot Role.
If all 5 players can shoot 3's, then no obvious Center.

PF can hit some 3's.....stretch the floor. Sengun can shoot some 3's. Stretch the floor.
At least in the first 21 games when he shot about 40% from 3.

You are assuming, the Rockets will always have Sengun with Tari
and Jabari.......I am not. Not everyone will play 48-minutes.

Myles Turner can hit some 3's.....thus interchangeable with Sengun at 4/5.
If it makes you feel better, Two PF's or Two Centers when both
Myles Turner and Sengun share the court together.

I personally have Myles Turner guarding the PF, as I feel he
is more mobile than Sengun. Doesn't really matter in switch
everything defense......as players start off guarding their opposite
assignment.....but get rubbed off on to someone else as the
    play develops.

Looks like the Rockets only have trade options left. The Center position in Free Agency has pretty well dried up.

Not much left to dangle out there as trade bait but one thing I'm sure of is without another big Rockets gonna suck. Maybe that's the plan. Pray to get the 1st pick next year and draft Wembanyama but the odds of that happening suck. Maybe there will be 2 or 3 good bigs next year and as long as they land in the Top 5, they'll be content.

    Nets maybe the answer

    Garuba for Sharpe
It’s clean but why would the Nets do it?

    it will hurt a little…
    Porter for Day’Ron Sharpe

We get a young big with promise. They get Porter, talent to blend with their super stars plus they are covered up with crafty veteran bigs.

Side note we own their picks when Porter blows up. Irving & Porter!

    or

Christopher if they won’t take Porter.

    Any one of the three.

This guy is much more interesting than Hudgins to me, and played with us.
Don't understand the choice, having already 3 young PGs on the roster and no center with those qualities.

You can’t be serious.. Porter for Sharpe? A guy who hasn’t shown he can be a rotational player? And trading JC for him is dumb too lol. These boards have the dumbest fans, it’s hilarious

    Trade Porter for Day’
Hide and watch. Sharpe is a better than solid at position of need.and fits the timeline. Porter (starts) and Christopher got playing time because we are the worst team in the league not superior talent.

KPJ for Sharpe is so insane it sounds like something a Nets fan would propose.

Rockets are wait and see with Porter.

Josh Christopher defense and scoring upside off the bench. Josh is a keeper.

I think Point Guards and Centers will be a focus in the next Draft. Or another Wing player.

I think we should try to swing a trade for Mo Bamba. In limited minutes of playing time he shot around 37 to 38% from three point range last year. He's only 24 years old and keeps getting better and better as it gets stronger. He came into the league real thin but as he's put on weight his rebounding has gone way up. Last season he averaged 8 rebounds and just under 11 points to go along with 2.4 blocks per game as a bench player.

Rather trade for Myles Turner instead.

We’re not getting Turner or Bamba. A little angel has notified me that the Rockets have decided to go with Eason as the backup center.

Hmm, a flyer on the still physically questionable Baynes.

AB is everything the Rox need: talented, solid locker room adult, and if healthy by February a guar-an-teed SRP return. And, he won’t be affecting Ws/Ls or PT beyond helping the other guys’ development.

Baynes not a rim protector but he's a stretch 5 who can defend post vs the bigger 5's.

Good idea, should be willing to take prove it deal.

Gives AB plenty of time to heal and earn some bucks along the way.
