It's not all about return it's also about the ability to trade him to multiple places.

It's obvious you just don't have a good handle on all that the value rankings encompass and just want to b**** about Simmons.

Ben Simmons, Kyrie, and Harden were DISQUALIFIED from the list. They weren't valued less than the 64th player on the list. And there's a very very clear reason for that. These 3 have shown that if they won't like where they're getting traded, they straight up won't play. That means that most of the time, majority of the teams wouldn't even bother putting together an offer unless they talk to the player first and had assurance of buy in.

Look at what Harden brought from Philly last year. That's a huge return, probably top 30 level on the list. But Philly was the only team that could offer that much cause Morey and Harden already worked something out behind the scenes. Could Utah for example make that same offer? No cause Harden would've just mailed it in and left at free agency. That's why you can't try to rank these guys on an overall value list.
