Working Class and Hispanic Voters Are Losing Interest in the Party of Abortion, Gun Control and the January 6th Hearings
White College-Educated Voters, On the Other Hand, Are On Board

It is difficult to avoid the conclusion that Democrats’ emphasis on social and democracy issues, while catnip to some socially liberal, educated voters, leaves many working class and Hispanic voters cold. Their concerns are more mundane and economically-driven. This is despite the fact that many of these voters are in favor of moderate abortion rights and gun control and disapprove of the January 6th events. But these issues are just not salient for them in the way they are for the Democrats’ educated and most fervent supporters.

    duh

working class people are primarily concerned with inflation, the economy, and crime, and last I checked, the Democrats don’t poll well on those issues

Who do u think inflation and a bad economy affects the most? Hint, it’s not college educated white people

So which group of people are more likely to want stronger labor unions, increased min wage, reverse Citizens United, public healthcare, universal Pre-K?

A regular hispanic family that just wants to see their children grow up in safety and with a chance to be rewarded for hard work is probably going to lean much more towards voting Republican. The crazy woke identity politics of the Democrats do not appeal to them. But one of the things the Republicans are definitely not doing right is gun control. If you want your children to be safe, Republicans aren't really your party of choice when it comes to that.

But on most other issues (the economy, repressive/authoritarian/socialist Covid regimes, freedom in general), Republicans will come out ahead with working-class Hispanics.

    What is woke politics?

No links. I just want to have an understanding of what you think it is in your own words.

Yeah, the main issue is the democrats can't do any of these things. BBB would have been a start to it but of course you have Manchin and Sinema standing in the way of it.

So what happens is the GOP lies to them that they are actually for them all while they plan to cut social security, healthcare, and the safety net entirely to give their donors more and more money and since the Democrats can't deliver on the things they want to deliver they get blamed for it.

That's one thing the Democrats don't spell out enough, what the GOP actually wants to do is destroy the social safety net, they want to get rid of social security, want to destroy healthcare, want to destroy public education, don't want to make education cheaper, they are super anti-working class.

Eventually, either the GOP will reveal themselves to the voters in which they will lose these voters when these voters realize transperson using a restroom has 0 effect on their lives or eventually the DNC will get a leader willing to fight hard for these issues and win these voters back.

    That's good.

    That's bad.

    Only 4.2% unemployment. That's good.

16% of Texans are at the poverty level even with such low levels of unemployment. That's bad. You'd think being employed would keep you out of the poverty level. Doesn't even take into account all the unhealthy people in this state that are one heart attack, one cancer diagnosis or one major car wreck away from plummeting into the poverty level as well. You'd think as the 9th largest economy in the world, more people that live in this state wouldn't find themselves struggling as much as they are. You'd think with the 9th largest economy, there'd be very few uninsured, and even fewer enduring their lives at the poverty level.

Then compare the reality to what Republicans actually do for Texans that do work despite being uninsured and enduring the poverty level.

Texas House votes down budget amendment aimed at giving health coverage to more uninsured Texans

More than 1.3 million Latinos in Texas live in cities or counties with no Latino representation on their city council or commissioners court.

So ya, blame woke politics or whatever. Sounds very like a very boomer topic to bring up.

Politics which forget what regular folks care about and escalate into a hysterical spiral of virtue signaling, with people who are deeply illiberal pretending to be "better" than others just because they supposedly protect the interests of some tiny minorities. The truth is that these virtue signalers couldn't care less about the actual interests of people - their true motivation is to feel morally superior to their "enemies", the conservatives.

When logically obvious conflicts arise within this ideology, e.g.:

    - fighting the Catholic church tooth and nail for alleged discrimination of gays and women, but turning a blind eye to how much worse gays and women are treated under Islamic rule
    - pretending to fight for women's rights but completely ignoring the rights of unborn children, pretending they aren't worth ANY protection
    - fighting for the rights of trans people, even if that means disadvantaging women (e,g. in sports)

    etc. etc. etc.

the woke folks become very aggressive and try to shout down those who point out their cognitive dissonance. They also threaten violence. The leftist wokes are deeply intolerant. In Germany, a leftist minister actually just instituted several government agencies where people can report "anti-queer" statements (even if those aren't illegal speech). This reeks of a denunciation culture, like with the Stasi. The minister in question:

The leftist German minister for Housing is openly fantasizing about restricting the square feet of living space allowed per person - again, same attitude as in the former communist East Germany regime, and under the National socialists (who were also socialists).

These people hate personal freedoms. They go into politics to exercise power over others. "Climate change", "Trans rights", whatever it is - there is always a seemingly worthy cause to restrict others' freedoms.

tl;dr: Woke politics are anti-freedom, full of virtue signaling, hypocritical, and in most cases not driven by genuine care for the minority they allegedly defend, but by a desire to exercise power over others and to feel morally superior over others (who get demonized in the process).

LOL. You do realize that GOP loose gun laws have made the streets less safe, and that Occupational Safety and Health regs were far worse under Trump. Workers safety inspections went way way down, resulting in far more accidents and deaths.

Only the Corporations are rewarded, not the 60 hour slave workers in the plants and oil fields.

You always bring up woke politics. It's so obvious you hate anyone not like you. Screw equality right?

The regular progressive family also wants to see their children grow up in safety with a chance to be rewarded for hard work.

    It is a common goal.
