    Good to hear JVG talk sports. Was a little painful to hear him be optimistic about the Nets this year. Can't blame him for selecting the Knicks road blues as his favorite NBA jersey.

    Doesn't sound highly optimistic, but as much as I love JVG one of his flaws that didn't matter much for us was not being able to see the value in younger players.

    My hope here... is that we bring JVG back into the fold!

    I know many feel the game has passed him by... but i still think he's a helluva head coach and def a guy to instill a no nonsense culture! Get him a young up n coming offensive coordinator to run the offense (reverse Bzdelik) - and let JVG focus on the d and holding guys accountable!

    I'd go to war with that lil terrier!

    Don't like JVG, Overused Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady and recruiting Very Old Former Knicks Players.

    Clarence Weatherspoon, Chris Childs, Marc Jackson, Juwan Howard

    Ruined Yao and Tracy giving them heavy minutes.

    Stan Van Gundy and Jeff Van Gundy have no idea how to Coach on offense.

    Low Post, Half Court Offense,Old Players = 83 Points a Game

    Yep, I see him as a good HC to pick up the job on contending teams.
    I am not confident on him as a cornerstone kind of a guy where you ask him for a full rebuild. As much as I love and agree with most of the criticism he does as a commenter, that is not the line of though that fits a full rebuild team.
    Especially when you are not a former player or long time experienced coach / assistant
