He's got Kawhi frame. 6'8 vs 6'7 Kawhi but Kawhi wingspan 7'3 to Tari's 7'1. Kawhis hands bigger but Tari has huge hands too. Broad shoulders. Kawhi came in with a broken form and raw as an offensive player. His SDSU highlights are very similar in stype to the way Tari plays right now and at LSU, but Tari's form is worse than SDSU Kawhi.
It's going to be hard to suck as hard as some of our competition. Last year we were fighting Orlando, OKC, Detroit, Sacramento, Portland for the bottom spot and it got ugly the last 20 games. This year, you can guarantee that San Antonio and Indiana at the least will be tanking and hard. With OKC rolling out Holmgren, Giddy, Gilgeous-Alexander, Dieng, Dort and the Williams twins I think they are going to try to make the play-in. With DET rolling out Cunningham, Ivey, Duren and Stewart, it's possible they may still try to tank with that team. With ORL rolling out Banchero, Wagner, Suggs, Isaac, Bol and Bamba, I can see them trying to make a run at the play-in but I'm on the fence. With SAC rolling out Fox, Sabonis, Murray and Mitchell, . . . . who the hell cares, they will be bottom feeders again. HOU is rolling out Green, Smith Jr., Sengun, Porter Jr., Eason, Christopher and TyTy and Tate. Hard to say but I think we'll try and be at the bottom but will probably be somewhere between the 5th and 8th seed. May be close enough to package several future picks along with our 1st to trade up to the Top 3 but usually those Top 3 don't move.
Yes, you can! Someone on YouTube referred to him as the new Jeff Green. Uncle Jeff was nothing to sneeze at his best.
Yeah is it weird that I think he has just as much upside as almost anyone in the draft after seeing these few games? I understand there are the John Lucas III and the Greene who goes off, but I'm talking raw physical attributes matched with enough skill to be a loathing he wants to be?
There was a point in “my process” where I had Tari #4, and I let talking heads like Russillo talk me down because of a loose handle or something crazy. Truly unbelievable, easily a top 5 prospect in this draft on intangibles alone
I could see management in both Detroit and Sacramento want to be at least semi relevant this year. I also think a lot will depend on whether Fox and Cunningham make the next step as playmakers. If they do, both teams could make a push for respective play-in tourneys. I honestly think the Rockets could win 30 games and still have the 4-5th worst record.
