I hated how he played game 1 but last 2 games have been night and day.

Nailed it here IMO. The Rockets weren't drafting for a championship NOW (as in this year)...the think what you said here...the guy just turned 19 in May as you meant to say he just left 18 in the rear view mirror. The Paolo people see as so great is 85% of what he will be (Team Exec's opinion), and, yes, that's good. But,Jabari has barely touched his ability. I think he is like maybe 60% of what he can and will be.One thing...he makes those around him better..and, that's important.

Nix is fine - he's a nice depth piece and kind of unique as a plus size point.

Damn y’all, our rooks played a hell of a game. Clamped down on Defense as well.

this is why I always had him #1 on my board. having an efficient 20ppg (potentially) guy, who can do that on low usage allows for jalen and another star (alpy, kpj, or our '23 pick) to get theirs.

I saw him miss/ignore Bari quite a few times in the first half, and he bricked that fullback-protect-slow-drive-layup like three times tonight. I've seen him play much better than this before.

I went to look up his box score numbers and I admit they look good, it just seemed to me while watching the game that he was forcing his own offense too much. Maybe the few times he did it was really egregious and it really stood out to me.

For sure this was true at AU...with 7 Ft. Walker Kessler and the PNR there was very little need for that. It's just a mistake IMO to say he can't. But, we shall see.

I think they needed him to be the number 1 option to take pressure of Smith. Sort of try to be like Jalen would be for Smith come normal games.

I love focusing on defense. jalen will be able to carry the offense.

jabari, Eason, and tate will be a hell of a forward rotation. especially with Hollins coaching them.

I feel like KPJ should ultimately take a 6th man role. He's not a pure point guard but he would excel leading the second unit. I would be intrigued to see TyTy start with that group at some point. He plays smart and in control.

Spurs made their big run in the first half by pretending to be the Warriors and making all kinds of 3s and circus shots. They lost their lead and the game by going inside and getting blanketed by our bigs, especially Bari and Tari. The latter gets his hands on anything resembling a ball.

Some NBA teams may go out for cocktails and beers after games...our guys go to Baskin Robbins. Two scoops for a win. No Daishen, you can't come along.

Well I’m ready for the regular season.

Can’t get into sloppy summer league.

Spurs are really bad also, still seeking first win.
