Celtics lack of PG got exposed in the NBA finals. They couldn’t score for **** despite having Tatum and Brown.

That was more a case of the Warriors having a little bit more (Steph/Klay/Wiggins/
Poole [18.5 pts...4.0 Ast / game in reg season] )than the Celtics.

    Tatum and Brown got tired.

Celtics traded for Malcolm Brogdan.......saying Marcus Smart will remain
quote unquote starting PG. But is Brogdan a PG or combo guard?

But it's like teaching Scott Hatteburg first base if Hattie had undergone a lobotomy. Sometimes our guys look like they study Yinka Dare game tape to learn how to pass.

    Sengun be The Sh**, though.

KPJ isn't even close to being close to being a superstar.

I think KPJ is talented & has 6th man of the year potential but people keep neglecting the fact that he is entering his 4th year and is due for an extension you can't compare his development to rookies and players going into their 2nd campaign. You can only have "potential " for so long the NBA will replace you he's lucky the Rox are tanking and was void of talent when the team picked him up for 2nd round pick

remains to be seen with Segun will be intrigued how he has developed in year 2

& JG4 the resident face of franchise I know he been puttin in work

He was MVP in a pretty decent international league at age 18. Arguably, Dirk was not yet that good at age 18. He displays enormous creativity with his passing skills. His per minute numbers are already pretty amazing, and he was one of the youngest players in the entire league last season.

If we're not going to run with a traditional ball handler in the backcourt, that's fine.

But playmaking needs to come from someone...whether that's one of the wing players, Segun, really clever coaching...

How quickly people forget Kevin Porter Jr is the youngest player in NBA history to record 50 points and 10 assists, and he's still young. Not too many has done that, and not many ever will. People need to stop giving up on players so easily, especially during seasons when the Rockets WANT to lose games.

I wanna see AlP run a PnR with Smith as the screener. Slip, roll or pop for Smith.

Top 200 player = superstar for clutchfans

Also guys please think of 1 championship team where they draft their entire starting lineup with consecutive picks

Do you think teams just go out there and say lets draft a
    Pg
    Sg
    Sf
    Pf
    C
And call it a day? When has this ever happened

Gsw doesn't have a pg either.their pg is known more for his shooting than passing. For that matter look at all the teams that have won multiple times. Parker not really a pg, Steve kerr/Harper, fisher all not really pgs they just brought the ball up, let's others do their thing and hit open shots

Kevin Porter does not have superstar potential lol.

Hell, he still has to prove he can sustain an nba career.

Point guards come in many shapes and sizes. Derek Fisher, Ron Harper and Kenny Smith won chips as starting point guards while Chris Paul and John Stockton never did. I think KPJ can be an adequate point guard being a Lonzo ball 3&D pg. The team should have other facilitators like Sengun to make up for what KPJ lacks as a combo guard type rather than a traditional point guard.
