Tate has that dog in him too, but Eason will eventually win that battle over and anyone who thinks different will be in for a surprise haha

We should cut him now. How dare he be older?

Tate has no business starting over Eason by mid-season…he has far more potential than Tate on both ends of the court

I think Stone sees too much of himself in light skin Nix. He might develop in a few years, but the fact that he's not focusing on his body in the gym should tell you what he's doing with his opportunity.

My opinion on Chet really lowered after this game. He can block shots but so could Kristaps. He can shoot 3s but so could Kristaps. He will be pushed around and be injury prone, like Kristaps.

This is from a 6-22-22 Sporting News article on Chet Holmgren....talking about being under 200 lbs...said he was 195.

I'm not really worried about Jabari's shot, but it's weird to see an athletic 4 never rolling or in the dunkers spot. That stuff could really get him going. He needs to fight for better position. People will say some muscle will help, but I've see skinny dudes that just have that nasty in them. He really needs that if he never becomes an average ball handler OR passer.

your guy Silas has favorites. it's going to take monumental effort to supplant Tate or anyone else in that lineup.

in any event, Tate going to fight for his life in practice and make Tari better.

That wouldn't surprise me at all, but it would have to be a trade Rockets feel as though they win on talent (as opposed to just filling a need). JC brings a lot to the table for this young group. He also doesn't seem like his ego will push him out of the group. He embraces his role and still has upside. Even in his post game interview he recognized he shot too many shots and seemed self aware.

I am very pleased with Eason and TyTy tonight. Yeah, it's only a SL game. Can't wait to see these kids play some real NBA games together.

Eason looks like he would annihilate Tate in practice…Tate wouldn’t even get a shot off

I like Tate and Eason on the floor together in certain situations. Tari can play PF and you can slide Tate in at #2 in some defensive schemes. Overall, having both in different rotations is ideal. Eventually, if Tari develops like he is going to, he'll be getting 30+ mpg.
