Im not the one talking about under population or the richest man in the world. Sounds like Elon needs to pay his fair share.

You Elon-stans are a curious bunch.

Did you actually think that's what he was saying?

The things you think people are saying.

I dont think he know what he was saying. One moment he is talking about Musks view on birthrate stagnation then flips to talking about poor kids and then a mocking comment about needing more kids. I do not get the correlation between the two in this subject.

If anything, wealthy people needs to have more kids to encourage wealth disbursement. Poor people having many poor kids only promotes more poverty.

The man just literally paid billions in taxes several months ago and people still bang on about him not paying his fair share.

This isn't musk nuthugging. This is facts. If Musk was sucking up to the democrats, it would be the Republicans hating on him and the likes of you all talking about how he is a poster child of how a rich person should behave.

    Forgot that chestnut.

My favorite is still "It's gonna come out I sexually harassed/assaulted my employees and I'm afraid people will say mean things about me so I'm gonna buy twitter and become a republican while selling products that are almost exclusively bought by liberals." G-e-n-i-s.

Please show me where Elon ever pledged to end world hunger.

    He didnt.

Again, what does poverty have to do with the decline in birthrates?

Because raising kids is not cheap.....
And maybe people are not having kids because they can't afford to have them.
I know logic is not your forte but damn....it's not that hard to grasp.

Musk's tweets are months or years after his actions. If he tweets something, he already did something that he is trying to "normalize".

Tweets a bunch of crap about lower birth rate, then we find out he has like 9 or 30 kids..
Everyone: "at least he is doing his part".

At this point I would say most people are onto his shenanigans. I browse random parts of the internet and the sentiment has definitely changed.

But I can count you and cxbby and a few others here to defend him no matter what.

Well, I'd point out that he's not talking about declining birthrates but the decline in certain birthrates.

    Carry on.

eta: and also, he's not concerned about this for our sake, he's just worried about having enough people to colonize Mars.

    Again, carry on.

The dude did this Twitter thing so he could sell his stock in Tesla but not hurt the company. The man is just another shady rich man and the public fans are too stupid to realize it.

Elon Musk is a gangster. It’s not necessarily a compliment but he really and truly believes social criticism or constructs or values are in no way applicable to him. He sets his own values, he sets his own course and no one and nothing can stop him because of his wealth and genius.

He can procreate with any woman he wants at any time he wants. He can enter into agreements to buy a massive company and just walk away. He can be as offensive as he wants, he can challenge governments and at the end of the day he will be fine.

Definitely an original. Brilliant and perhaps a little mentally ill.

i basically see him as lyle lanley from the simpsons monorail episode.

he makes a lot of promises and fails to follow through on them and he was more than happy to take government hand-outs, enrich himself and take advantage of californias clean energy subsidies and tax breaks, but then threw a temper tantrum and moved to texas when he didnt want to play by their rules and regulations.

and how can any self-respecting texan get behind this dude....this is what californians dress like when they want to pretend they are cowboys.

He is extremely successful and ambitious and he has produced technology and products so I don’t see how he fits the Simpsons character. If anything he is more like a modern day Howard Hughes.

I don’t agree on Musk on everything, and his “brilliance” doesn’t necessarily carry over into the realm of fatherhood or social issues… but he is an incredibly brilliant man at what he does. People try to dismiss it because they don’t like him.

It isn’t as if he has only had one successful business or idea either, he isn’t Bill Gates or the founder of Amazon.

Maybe… but I think you are underselling him. I don’t think when it comes to him, he needs an excuse because he doesn’t give a ****.

He doesn’t need an excuse to cheat on his wife, assuming it is even cheating. He feels he is brilliant and has a responsibility to pass on his genetics and has the money to do it - and that’s as far as it goes.

It is a level of arrogance that is very rare, but he can back it up for the most part.
