I don't know about that..he seemed to be really feeling himself and his performance in an interview I saw yesterday. It's why I suggested we Twitterbombed him to make him aware.

I need Jabari to get the most shots in the game. Ty-Ty needs to start and Nix off the bench.

 

youre making basketball, and showing what you can do, sound more complicated than it is...if youre forcing the action, playing selfish and tunnel visioned, not willing to set the screen or pass the ball around you are showing youre not the good player... at least this is how it is with intelligent scouts...

ah if only silas could turn back the time and play garuba 48 minutes a night while he was still healthy and available... but back then he had that weird urge (in the tanking year!?) to play nwaba, danuel house and daniel theis his pet players...real pros....

not gonna write him off for missing summer league, but not sure he deserves the backup 5 minutes. I don’t care that we didn’t sign anyone because what does it really matter when u aren’t competing. But I had hoped Garuba would give us reason to deserve rotational minutes. Between the flabby body and repeat injuries, I think the guy needs another half a year in the G League.

hey silas/stone apologist, this is not a matter of hit and miss.... this guy didnt even get the chance... they just carelessly wasted the pick....you didnt even try this guy and you played shitty vets over him instead of testing him in the nba and building his confidence and developing him properly...

I hope Jabari does better this game, but if he doesn't or if it's somehow still equivocal and people are using these first two games as an opportunity to bemoan the pick, then I'm going to make an IDIOT about how all of us Rockets fans were ready to bury Evan Mobley after the Rockets beat the Cavs in last year's summer league, talking all that mess and declaring Sengun as the better player between the two.

Because all along I've thought that Jabari was a better version of Mobley, even back to February when we could only dream about having him on our team. Take Mobley, make him more vocal and give him a golden shot, and that's Jabari. We lucked out so bad with this draft.

Jabari is who he is. A taller Robert Covington. Hopefully he'll be good support for Jalen Green.
